This sustainably-mined peat moss holds water, provides aeration, nutrient exchange sites and decomposes slowly. It is often used as a mulch over a newly seeded lawn, etc. or as an ingredient in potting soil or soil-less mixes. Inert and UN-amended, this peat moss is suitable on its own for acid-loving plants or can be easily pH balanced, making it a terrific growing media for all plants.
